A vision of a new society
Imagine a society in which everyone's basic needs are met and people volunteer for work based on their interests. If there is a shortage of volunteers for an essential need then the work is automated or given to community service. Everyone does community service according to their training and skills, in additional to their voluntary work.
Volunteers would work together in service units to meet the needs of society or other social units. A restaurant or hospital for example would be a local service unit. Resources would be allocated to service units according to the demand for their services.
There would be no need for money. People would take what they need and return what they no longer need. Property and community service would be managed by the local community.
