Volunteer Service Units

A Volunteer Service Unit is a decentralized group of volunteers that produces or manages a product or service of benefit to society, such as for example food and accommodation. The VSU may consume resources from other VSUs or may be granted access to communal resources such as land or raw materials. The VSU is managed by the same volunteers, using voting for decision making.
